Join Our Team at Sacred Heart OSHC! Part of the vibrant Sacred Heart Parish and School community, our centre is licensed for up to 120 children and offers a supportive, inclusive environment that celebrates diversity, individuality, and active play. We focus on fun, with a strong emphasis on outdoor games, sport, and creative activities — encouraging both free play and structured experiences.

We're currently seeking a casual team member for before/after school care and vacation care.

Hours:

  • Before School: 6:30 am – 8:30 am
  • After School: 2:45 pm – 6:00 pm
  • Vacation Care: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

  • Providing nurturing care for children
  • Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment

  • Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
  • Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A Certificate III, Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA approved)
  • Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
  • A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth in a play-based setting
  • Previous experience in OSHC or a similar environment (desirable)
