As our Woodridge OSHC service continues to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic and caring Educators to join our team. With up to 60 children attending each afternoon, no two days are the same as you deliver engaging programs and build meaningful connections. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a developing service where your ideas, energy, and contribution can help shape positive experiences for children and families from the ground up.
We are specifically seeking educators available for After School Care shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:30pm – 6:00pm.
About the Role
As an OSHC Educator, you'll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive. Working alongside a supportive team, you'll help deliver quality programs that encourage creativity, connection, and fun.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Deliver engaging play-based experiences that support children's interests and development.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Support the day-to-day operations of the service and contribute to a positive team culture.
- Work collaboratively to create positive outcomes for children and families.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with school-aged children in an OSHC, education, recreation, or care setting, not essential but highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, reliable, and proactive approach.
- Ability to create engaging experiences that are fun, inclusive, and child-focused.
- Current completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory National Child Safety Training (Gecko Learning).
