We're seeking passionate and enthusiastic Casual Educators to join our welcoming team at Immaculate Heart Outside School Hours Care in Leichhardt.
As part of the close-knit Immaculate Heart School and Ipswich Parish community, our service operates from the school hall and welcomes up to 90 children each day. A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator
As an Educator, you'll play an important role in creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn through play. Your day may include:
- Providing nurturing and responsive care for children.
- Creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all.
- Planning and facilitating fun recreational, educational, and play-based experiences that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Building positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the wider school community.
- Collaborating with an established and supportive team to deliver the best outcomes for children and families.
- Joining in on exciting excursions and special activities during Vacation Care programs.
- Bringing energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every shift while making a real difference in children's lives.

What We’re Looking For:
- A Certificate III, Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA approved) desirable but not essential.
- A current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A passion for working with children and contributing to their growth in a play-based setting.
- Current completion (or willingness to complete prior to commencement) of mandatory National Child Training (via Geckko).
- Previous experience in OSHC or a similar environment (desirable).
