St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care is a welcoming, community-focused service operating as part of the Kangaroo Point/East Brisbane Parish community and located within the St Joseph's Church precinct. We provide high-quality Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care, offering children a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment to learn, play, and grow. Our program makes the most of the diverse play spaces across the St Joseph's Primary School grounds and includes a wide range of enriching experiences such as cooking, arts and crafts, music, organised sports, drama, indoor group games, and much more.

We are seeking passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Educators to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver engaging programs that support children's learning, development, and wellbeing while fostering positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community.

The Role:

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and supervise children in a safe and supportive manner during before and after-school care sessions
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning, creativity, and social development
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Maintain a clean and organized OSHC environment
  • Comply with all relevant policies and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent qualification)
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing educational programs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential
  • Completed Child Safety Training certificate
