General Summary
Provides administrative functions and services related to the ongoing operation of the Food Pantry.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide administrative functions necessary for all aspects of the food pantry including scheduling and supervision of volunteers, procurement, inspections and storage.
- Process documentation necessary for USDA record keeping as well as client intake and data entry forms.
- Keep well organized and thorough reports of donations, CFBNJ allocations, and all client data.
- Attend diocesan food pantry meetings.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, service delivery, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with all staff.
- Responsible for other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support the effective and efficient operation of Catholic Charities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong customer service skills.
- Computer skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services related field or experience in social services.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to the Hope House Office Manager.
Working Conditions
Works in the Food Pantry at Hope House. Travel to other parishes, local donors, and other agency/diocesan sites may be required.
