Due to our recent move to a brand-new saleroom in Chislehurst, South London, we are expanding our team and recruiting for a Valuer and Auctioneer.
Responsibilities
- Perform valuations both in our saleroom and conduct client visits.
- Carry out probate & insurance valuations.
- Catalogue and help co-ordinate and conduct our monthly auctions.
Experience
- The successful applicant will have worked in an auction house for a number of years in a valuer capacity.
- Knowledge in specialist fields as well as a good general knowledge of antiques is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will be passionate, diligent, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised with excellent computer literacy and a high level of customer service is essential.
- Rostrum experience is desirable but not essential.
- A driving licence is required.
