The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join a busy and collaborative supply chain team. The role plays a key part in improving supplier performance, validating new suppliers, and supporting purchasing activities to ensure robust, cost-effective, and reliable supply across the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Conduct supplier audits and support ongoing supplier performance improvement
- Validate and onboard new suppliers in line with quality and operational requirements
- Manage supplier non-conformances through to resolution using ERP systems
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to support delivery performance and cost efficiency
Requirements of the Supplier Quality Engineer:
- HNC or equivalent qualification in a technical or engineering discipline
- Proven experience using ERP systems within warehouse, materials management, or planning functions
- Strong knowledge of supplier scorecards, vendor management, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Full UK driving licence with the ability to visit suppliers as required
