Our client is an innovative, high-growth technology business based in Exeter, delivering cutting-edge automotive and telematics solutions that transform efficiency, safety, and engagement for some of the UK’s largest fleets.
As their customer base continues to expand internationally, they are seeking an experienced Account Manager with professional-level French language skills to join their dynamic team.
The Role:
The French-speaking Account Manager will manage a portfolio of valued customer accounts, both UK-based and international, building trusted relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving account growth. This is a hybrid role based in Exeter, with occasional travel to customer sites in the UK, France, and further afield.
This role offers Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a week in the Exeter Office.
Responsibilities for the French-speaking Account Manager include:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact
- Identify and deliver opportunities for account growth through renewals, upselling, and increased customer engagement
- Analyse customer data to provide actionable insights and ensure measurable outcomes
- Collaborate across internal teams to deliver solutions that align with customer needs and business objectives
Role Requirements for the French-speaking Account Manager :
- Fluent, professional-level spoken and written French is essential for liaising with key international clients.
- Proven experience in account management and customer-facing roles, within automotive, telematics, or technology sectors
- Demonstrable track record of retaining and growing customer accounts
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify upselling and renewal opportunities
