An established and highly regarded professional services firm with a strong regional presence is seeking to strengthen its senior tax leadership team. The organisation supports a broad and varied client base, ranging from owner managed businesses to larger corporate groups, and is known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence and long term commitment to people development.
This is a senior opportunity for an experienced corporate tax professional to play a key role in leading and developing a specialist corporate tax team. The role combines high level client advisory work with leadership responsibility, working closely with partners and colleagues across audit and accounts to deliver a joined up tax service. It offers genuine scope to influence strategy, mentor future leaders and shape the ongoing development of the corporate tax offering.
Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering complex compliance and advisory services
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted senior adviser
- Manage and support a team of corporate tax specialists, providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Work closely with partners and other service lines, including acting as a key point of contact with HMRC where required
- Significant experience in corporate tax, with a strong focus on large company compliance and advisory work
- CTA qualification, with ACA or ACCA qualification advantageous
- Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate high performing tax teams
- Strong communication skills, with confidence working at senior client and partner level
