This is a fantastic opportunity to join Cathedral Hygiene. We are a family‑run washroom services provider who has customers based across the UK and we are looking for an Environmental Coordinator to join our EHS team at our Head Office in Tamworth.
What the role involves:
- Provide Environmental support to all departments within the company.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external standards along with Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
- Monitor and manage environmental data and provide reports as necessary.
- Maintain our management system.
- Keep accurate records.
- Draft and review environmental risk assessments and method statements.
- Carry out internal and external audits.
- Keep up to date with Environmental legislation.
- Assist in managing compliance across our sites.
- Assist in Management Review/Environment, Health & Safety Committee meetings and take minutes as necessary.
The skills we are looking for:
- Enthusiasm and passion for protecting the environment, and any environment or energy experience will be advantageous.
- Willingness to attend relevant training courses.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Excellent phone manner, customer service and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including a good working knowledge of Excel.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- A full, clean driving licence.
