The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to join a successful team within the Real Estate department, acting for regional and national property developers. From the outset, you’ll play a key part in managing sale transactions from instruction through to post-completion, gaining valuable exposure to a high-quality caseload. You’ll enjoy both autonomy and support in equal measure, ideal for someone keen to build a long-term legal career in property.
Key Responsibilities of a Paralegal:
- Draft sale contracts, TP1s, and leases using standard precedents and assist in progressing transactions to exchange and completion
- Liaise with clients, chase updates, and report on progress in a clear and timely manner
- Handle Land Registry applications and assist with general post-completion matters
- Support fee earners in the department with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks
Key Requirements of the Paralegal:
- Previous experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role, ideally within property or real estate law
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload
- Excellent IT skills and meticulous attention to detail to produce high-quality legal work
- A proactive, team-focused approach with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for a career in law
