The Role:
This exciting full-time, permanent role is perfect for a proactive individual with at least 12 months’ marketing experience, ideally gained in a professional services or B2B setting. Working within a collaborative and well-supported team, you will contribute to a range of marketing and business development activities that enhance brand visibility and support regional growth objectives.
Marketing & Business Development Assistant responsibilities include:
- Event & Campaign Coordination: Plan and deliver a variety of events, including seminars, conferences, and webinars, and support the management of wider marketing campaigns.
- Communications Support: Contribute to PR activities, social media output, and marketing communications including press releases and content planning.
- Administrative Management: Handle budget tracking, diary scheduling, travel planning, and provide wider admin support to the marketing team.
- Market Insight & Engagement: Attend networking events, assist with legal directory submissions, and gain insight into target markets to support business development efforts.
Marketing & Business Development Assistant requirements include:
- Experience & Qualifications: A minimum of 12 months' marketing experience (ideally 12–18 months in B2B/professional services); CIM qualifications or ambition to study towards CIM are desirable.
- Technical & Creative Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, digital fluency (including social media and creative tools), and a detail-oriented, proactive approach.
- Teamwork & Time Management: Ability to collaborate effectively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines within a busy environment.
- Flexibility & Enthusiasm: Willingness to attend occasional out-of-hours events and a genuine interest in learning about new markets and supporting business growth.
