As a Legal Secretary in the Private Client department, you will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support to the legal team. You will be a key point of contact for clients and will help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The role offers some hybrid working with 4 days a week in the Exeter Office.

Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary include:
  • Deliver comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Private Client team, including diary management and digital dictation.
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries from new and existing clients, maintaining a professional and client-focused approach.
  • Support client meetings at the office and assist with routine client correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing systems and manage general office administration efficiently.
Requirements of the Legal Secretary include:
  • Proven experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within a busy legal practice.
  • Confident IT user, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management system.
