Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-established organisation in Exeter, is seeking a Financial Controller to manage their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the organisation’s financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal policies.
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions using Sage, ensuring accurate financial records.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
  • Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with Engage MIS is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).

Due to the location of this role, you will need to have an enhanced DBS check; being on the update service would be advantageous.
