Role Overview

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Saltash. This is an exciting opportunity to design and develop specialist machinery while supporting projects from concept through to commissioning. Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and customers, you will play a key role in delivering innovative engineering solutions and contributing to technically complex projects across a range of manufacturing sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Produce electrical designs, technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Electrical and associated design software.
  • Support equipment build, commissioning, testing and customer installations both on-site and at client locations.
  • Develop technical documentation and provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions.

Requirements

  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Experience with, or willingness to learn, AutoCAD Electrical and electrical design principles.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing, commissioning and testing of engineered equipment.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
