We’re looking for an experienced Sales Controller to join a fast-growing organisation.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for driving commercial performance, acting as the bridge between Sales and Finance to deliver data-driven insights and support decision-making.

This is a full-time hybrid position (2 – 3 days per week in the Exeter area, the rest from home)

Sales Controller Responsibilities

  • Lead and improve sales forecasting, reporting and pipeline analysis
  • Monitor pricing, margins and profitability, providing actionable insights
  • Oversee CRM process governance and data quality
  • Support contract reviews, deal structures and commercial governance
  • Produce dashboards and reports for senior leadership on sales performance
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting, analytics and processes

Sales Controller Requirements

  • Proven experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Finance or Sales Support within a subscription environment
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and data analysis skills (advanced Excel essential)
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical, detail-oriented and proactive with a commercial mindset
