A forward-thinking engineering and technology business with global reach is seeking a dedicated QHSE Specialist to join its team in Exeter. The Role
Reporting to senior management, this standalone role carries responsibility for driving QHSE excellence across the business. The successful candidate will manage compliance with ISO standards, ensure effective risk management, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact within an innovative and growing organisation.
This role is a full-time position, based on-site in the office which is located on the outskirts of Exeter.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain certification to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, ensuring company-wide compliance.
- Oversee quality control processes, audits, inspections, and vendor quality assessments.
- Provide QHSE expertise, guidance and training to colleagues, promoting best practice and legislative compliance.
- Monitor performance, produce reports for management, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a QHSE role with integrated management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards and ability to lead internal audits and compliance activities.
- Excellent communication, organisation and reporting skills with attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent (degree or HND desirable).
