Are you a strategic, commercially minded finance leader ready to play a key role in a growing, multi-site organisation? We are seeking an experienced Finance Director to take ownership of the financial direction of a dynamic, values-driven business based in South Devon. You will work closely with the Board and Executive team to shape long-term strategy, drive financial performance, and lead a high-performing finance function.
The Role
As Finance Director, you will oversee all areas of financial planning, reporting, governance and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational excellence, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business with strong growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Director:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial planning
- Act as a key advisor to the Board on commercial strategy and business growth
- Oversee cash flow, treasury, and risk management processes
- Ensure financial controls, governance and regulatory compliance
- Drive improvements in systems, processes, and automation
- Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For in the Finance Director:
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role
- Proven experience in a multi-site or group structure environment would be beneficial
- Commercially astute with strong strategic and analytical capabilities
- Clear communicator, able to influence across senior and non-finance audiences
- A hands-on leader with a passion for team development and operational improvement
