Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge? Our client, a well-established organisation in Exeter, is seeking a Financial Controller to manage their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediate start.
Financial Controller responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the organisation’s financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal policies
- Manage the day-to-day accounting functions using Sage, ensuring accurate financial records
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making
Financial Controller requirements:
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential
- Strong knowledge of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance
- Experience with Engage MIS is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
- Due to the location of this role, you will need to have an enhanced DBS check, being on the update service would be advantageous
