This is a hands‑on role suited to a proactive and detail‑focused finance professional with experience in service charge or property finance. As the Service Charge Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial records across multiple portfolios, supporting onboarding of new properties, and ensuring accurate reporting. Working closely with the wider finance team, you will contribute to maintaining robust financial controls and delivering excellent service to stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Support the onboarding of new managed properties, ensuring accurate financial setup
- Maintain purchase and sales ledgers, including invoice processing, coding, and payments
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Handle service charge queries, credit control, and support audit and reporting processes
- Previous experience in service charge accounting, or property finance would be preferred
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in systems such as QuickBooks or Blocks Online advantageous
- AAT level 3 minimum, or CIMA/ACCA part‑qualified
