Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to join a specialist team supporting legal sector clients. This varied role combines accounts preparation, audit, tax and advisory work, offering the chance to build strong client relationships while working with a diverse portfolio of law firms. Previous experience with legal clients or the Solicitors' Accounts Rules (SAR) is advantageous, although full training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Prepare year-end accounts and accurate financial information for a portfolio of legal sector clients.
- Support audit assignments, management accounts, tax computations and VAT returns.
- Build strong client relationships while providing practical financial advice and support.
- Assist with mentoring junior colleagues and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.
Requirements
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified with relevant practice experience.
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice.
- Experience across accounts preparation and audit assignments.
- Knowledge of legal sector clients or Solicitors' Accounts Rules would be beneficial but is not essential.
