An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Senior to join a busy Business Advisory team in Truro. This varied, hands‑on role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio, preparing accounts, tax returns and financial reports while building long‑term client relationships. You'll also have the chance to support and mentor junior colleagues, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their practice career.
Responsibilities
- Prepare year‑end accounts, management accounts and financial reports for a varied client portfolio.
- Complete personal and corporate tax computations, VAT returns and bookkeeping services.
- Build strong relationships with clients, providing proactive support and practical financial advice.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members while managing workloads and meeting deadlines.
Requirements
- AAT, ACA or ACCA qualified or part‑qualified with relevant accountancy practice experience.
- Previous experience working within a public practice environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software together with excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high standard of client service.
