Role Overview

This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced QHSE Manager to influence and shape safety culture across a multi-site operation. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will take ownership of QHSE strategy and delivery, balancing hands-on site engagement with strategic oversight to drive continuous improvement and best practice.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage QHSE activities across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards
  • Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments to maintain and improve operational performance
  • Partner with site teams and leadership to embed a proactive, positive safety culture
  • Develop, implement and continuously improve QHSE systems, policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a QHSE role within construction, civil engineering or infrastructure environments
  • Strong knowledge of UK health, safety and environmental legislation, including ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001)
  • NEBOSH qualification (essential), with IOSH or environmental certifications desirable
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, from site teams to senior leadership
