Role Overview: This fixed-term Payroll Specialist position plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth and accurate delivery of payroll, pensions and associated payments. Working within a supportive HR team, you will lead the payroll function while also providing valuable data analysis and insight across the employee lifecycle. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented HR and payroll professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with meaningful organisational impact.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee pension administration and third-party payments, maintaining up-to-date legislative knowledge.
- Produce, analyse and interpret HR and payroll data to support informed decision-making.
- Provide clear, concise reporting and insight to stakeholders across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in payroll administration, including tax and pension legislation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with multiple data sources.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a range of stakeholders.
