We are seeking a Legal Secretary with proven experience to provide essential administrative and secretarial support to busy fee-earners. Whether joining on a full-time basis or part-time (Wednesday to Friday), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day legal operations.

Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary include:

  • Provide secretarial and administrative support, including digital dictation and document preparation.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, appointments, and client correspondence.
  • Assist with preparing court bundles and maintaining accurate filing systems.
  • Liaise with clients and external organisations, ensuring timely and professional communication.

The ideal Legal Secretary will have:

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, minimum of one year.
  • Strong typing and digital dictation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Own transport is essential due to the rural office location.

Benefits package:

  • Salary of £27,000 (full-time equivalent).
  • Part-time option available (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and Christmas shutdown.

  • Full-time hours: 9.00 am to 5.30 pm with a one-hour lunch break.
