An established and supportive organisation is seeking a dedicated Employment Law Paralegal to join its collaborative HR and legal function. The Role
As an Employment Law Paralegal, you will play a key role in providing employment law advice and practical support to HR colleagues. Working closely with an Employment Legal Counsel, you will help ensure casework is managed effectively, documentation is well prepared and legal processes run smoothly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong employment law knowledge who thrives in a hands-on, varied role.
Responsibilities of the Employment Law Paralegal:
- Act as the first point of contact for HR casework queries, offering clear and accurate employment law guidance.
- Draft legal documents and correspondence, including Tribunal forms, applications and case-related materials.
- Support case preparation for Employment Tribunal hearings, including disclosure, bundles and liaison with parties.
- Conduct legal research, contribute to policy updates and support the delivery of employment law training.
Requirements of the Employment Law Paralegal:
- Law degree, CILEX qualification or equivalent, with an employment law module or elective.
- At least 12 months of paralegal experience and sound knowledge of employment law.
- Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing a busy and varied workload.
