We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support the ongoing reliability and improvement of electrical systems across a busy manufacturing facility. This hands-on role combines reactive maintenance with planned electrical installations and infrastructure improvements, offering plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop your skills through ongoing training.
- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs across site facilities and production areas.
- Complete remedial electrical works following fixed-wire inspections, ensuring compliance with current regulations.
- Coordinate and oversee external electrical contractors, maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring apprentices and contributing to a collaborative maintenance team.
Requirements:
- Completed electrical apprenticeship with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent).
- Previous experience within a commercial, industrial, or manufacturing electrical maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations, distribution systems, containment, and fault diagnosis.
- IPAF, IOSH, PASMA, or experience working around high-voltage environments would be advantageous.
