Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Installer to join a growing field-based team. This role involves visiting customers in their homes to install and maintain telecare equipment, ensuring it is set up correctly and that users feel confident using it. It is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and making a meaningful difference to people’s daily lives.
Responsibilities of the Installer:
- Install, programme and test telecare equipment and keysafes in customers’ homes
- Provide clear guidance and support to users on how to operate equipment
- Manage appointments and workload to meet service standards and KPIs
- Maintain, repair and replace equipment, including battery changes and stock handling
Requirements of the Installer:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information simply
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region
- Practical skills, including basic DIY and use of tools
- Organised, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Company vehicle, tools and workwear provided. Additional payments for on-call rota (weekends and bank holidays). 34 days holiday including bank holidays and your birthday off.
