Supplier Quality Engineer

A well‑established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in the South West is looking to strengthen its supply chain capability. Operating within a specialist global market, the business designs and delivers complex engineered solutions and is recognised for its focus on quality, continuous improvement, and long‑term supplier partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier audits and support ongoing supplier performance improvement
• Validate and onboard new suppliers in line with quality and operational requirements
• Manage supplier non‑conformances through to resolution using ERP systems
• Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to support delivery performance and cost efficiency

Requirements

• HNC or equivalent qualification in a technical or engineering discipline
• Proven experience using ERP systems within warehouse, materials management, or planning functions
• Strong knowledge of supplier scorecards, vendor management, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Full UK driving licence with the ability to visit suppliers as required
• Competitive salary of £36,000 to £40,000 depending on experience
