We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to take ownership of the organisation’s network infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of voice, data, video, and wireless systems across the business. This role will play a key part in the design, implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of network services while supporting wider IT operations and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:
- Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, wireless, and VoIP network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable connectivity across all systems
- Support server, backup, and network security operations, including audits and disaster recovery planning
- Manage network upgrades, technical documentation, and vendor relationships to support ongoing infrastructure improvements
Requirements of the Network Engineer:
- Proven experience designing and supporting LAN, WAN, WLAN, and network security environments
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware troubleshooting, and performance monitoring
- Experience supporting VoIP systems, servers, and wider IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently
