Role
This part-time People Advisor role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. Working closely with the wider People team, you will provide practical, solutions focused HR advice, support employee engagement initiatives, and help ensure policies and processes are applied consistently and compliantly. This role is ideal for an experienced HR generalist seeking flexibility while maintaining meaningful impact.
Responsibilities of the People Advisor
- Provide first line HR advice and guidance on a wide range of people matters, including absence management and employee relations.
- Support recruitment activity from advert through to hire, ensuring an inclusive and values led candidate experience.
- Assist with employee relations processes, including meetings, documentation, and note taking where required.
- Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to people data, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements of the People Advisor
- Proven experience in a generalist HR or People Advisor role within a fast paced environment.
- Sound working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Competitive salary up to £30,000 DOE, pro rata for part-time hours.
