Renowned for their client-focused ethos and collaborative working culture, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Secretary to join their busy Litigation Department. The team covers a broad range of civil litigation matters including commercial and property disputes, employment law, and contentious probate.
The Role: As a Senior Legal Secretary, you’ll play a key role in providing comprehensive legal and administrative support to the litigation team, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of client matters and departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and progress litigation files, including those relating to property and contractual disputes
- Liaise with clients, legal professionals, courts, and third parties to support case progression
- Prepare correspondence and legal documentation, including court bundles and mediation documents
- Support billing processes, handle account queries, and manage payments to courts and counsel
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a litigation support role within a legal environment.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding client service
- Confident IT user, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management system
- Organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines while working well under pressure
