The Role:
This part-time, on-site Legal Secretary role is available three days per week (Monday to Wednesday). The successful candidate will deliver essential administrative and secretarial support to ensure the smooth running of daily legal operations. You will need to have a driver's license and access to a vehicle for this role due to the office's location.
Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary include:
- Handling day-to-day communications including phone calls, emails, messages, and appointment scheduling
- Providing high-quality audio typing and supporting the preparation of legal documents, including court bundles
- Maintaining digital and physical filing systems, spreadsheets, and processing invoices
- Liaising professionally with clients and external organisations, while managing competing workloads efficiently
The ideal Legal Secretary will have:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience in a legal secretarial role
- Proficient in digital dictation and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Own transport is essential due to the rural office location
