Role Overview

As Interim Financial Controller, you will take ownership of the finance function, ensuring robust financial reporting, compliance, and controls are maintained throughout the contract period. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide valuable financial insight, support business decision-making, and identify opportunities to improve processes while helping drive continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the finance team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the accounts function.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and deliver accurate financial reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee reconciliations, financial controls, and the integrity of accounting records.
  • Monitor cash flow, support audit processes, and ensure statutory and payroll obligations are met.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE).
  • Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
