They are seeking an experienced HR professional to join their team on a fixed-term basis, providing expert employee relations support while contributing to a range of people-focused projects.

This Interim ER Specialist position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, providing practical and commercially focused HR advice across a broad range of employee relations matters. Alongside managing complex casework, you will support organisational initiatives that enhance workforce development, employee engagement, and HR best practice. This role is a fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities of the Interim ER Specialist:

  • Manage a varied employee relations caseload, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Support workforce development and organisational change initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to HR reporting and process improvements.

Requirements of the Interim ER Specialist:

  • Proven experience in employee relations and complex casework management.
  • Strong generalist HR background, ideally at Advisor or Senior Advisor level.
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
