Operating within a specialist global market, the business designs and delivers complex engineered solutions and is recognised for its focus on quality, continuous improvement, and long-term supplier partnerships.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced
Supplier Quality Engineer
to join a busy and collaborative supply chain team.
The role plays a key part in improving supplier performance, validating new suppliers, and supporting purchasing activities to ensure robust, cost-effective, and reliable supply across the business.
Key Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer:
Conduct supplier audits and support ongoing supplier performance improvement
Validate and onboard new suppliers in line with quality and operational requirements
Manage supplier non-conformances through to resolution using ERP systems
Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to support delivery performance and cost efficiency
Requirements of the Supplier Quality Engineer:
HNC or equivalent qualification in a technical or engineering discipline
Proven experience using ERP systems within warehouse, materials management, or planning functions
Strong knowledge of supplier scorecards, vendor management, and continuous improvement methodologies
Full UK driving licence with the ability to visit suppliers as required
