Role Overview: We are looking for an Avionics Engineer to join a skilled engineering team in Wiltshire. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining high standards of aircraft safety, airworthiness, and compliance. You will carry out both line and base maintenance, support operational teams, and play an important part in ensuring all engineering activity is completed efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the Avionics Engineer:
- Carry out line and base maintenance activities, both onsite and at external locations when required
- Certify work within the scope of company authorisations and maintain accurate technical documentation
- Analyse technical aircraft information and support defect identification, reporting, and resolution
- Ensure all maintenance activity meets required safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Requirements of the Avionics Engineer:
- UK CAA B2 Licensed Engineer status with relevant and current recency evidence
- Strong experience in aircraft maintenance within a regulated aviation environment
- Sound understanding of compliance requirements, including CAA and EASA standards
- Full right to work in the UK and ability to obtain security clearance
