Transport Data and Modelling Analyst
Our client is looking for an Analyst to join their appraisal, modelling and economics team. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your analytical expertise to projects that will influence the future of transport, carbon reduction and sustainable infrastructure in the North of England.
The Role
You will help design and deliver tools and models that measure the impact of transport on the environment and communities. Day to day this means developing scripts, software and outputs that build a strong evidence base on carbon emissions and the transition to electric vehicles.
This is a rare chance to contribute to nationally significant work, producing analysis and technical products that will inform decision makers and be visible at a public level.

Requirements
We are looking for an analyst who has strong technical ability and a passion for innovation. You will bring
- Experience developing datasets, data products and analytical processes
- Strong skills in designing and delivering analytical tools to specification
- A highly numerate degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving ability
- Knowledge of transport modelling software and theory is a bonus
