The Role

As Technology Director, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the company’s technology vision. You’ll be responsible for defining the long term tech strategy, aligning it with wider business goals, and leading the delivery of innovative and scalable solutions across the organisation.

This is a board level leadership role, offering both strategic and operational scope from software solutions and enterprise infrastructure to data, cyber security, and technology governance. Your influence will extend across the business, and your decisions will directly support its continued growth, resilience, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the company’s overall technology strategy, ensuring alignment with long term business priorities
  • Lead major transformation initiatives across infrastructure, software solutions, and enterprise systems
  • Ensure the technology estate is secure, scalable, and fit for future growth
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to internal teams and key technology partners
  • Oversee technology governance, risk, and compliance, including Cyber Essentials+ and data protection standards
  • Champion a data driven culture and enhance business intelligence capabilities across the organisation
  • Work closely with board level colleagues to influence business strategy through the lens of technology
  • Build strong relationships across the business, fostering collaboration and innovation

This is a hybrid role based in their central Glasgow office, which offers onsite parking and excellent transport links. The company offers a competitive benefits package, including a bonus scheme, with a salary range of £100k to £120k.
