IFS Finance Consultant | Outside IR35 | Hybrid UK £725-750 per day We're looking for an experienced IFS Finance Consultant to join a major enterprise transformation programme and play a pivotal role in the design, configuration and delivery of finance solutions within a complex IFS environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance systems professional who combines strong functional expertise with a passion for improving business processes and delivering real value to stakeholders. The Role: You'll work closely with business and technical teams to design and implement robust finance solutions across the IFS platform, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective and scalable system capabilities. Key responsibilities include: Leading finance design workshops and gathering business requirements Configuring and optimising IFS Finance modules Supporting end-to-end finance processes including: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Procure-to-Pay Order-to-Cash Project Finance Revenue Recognition Inventory Costing Producing functional specifications and supporting solution design Managing testing activities, defect resolution and user acceptance testing Supporting reporting, integrations and data migration activities Providing guidance to stakeholders and helping drive successful adoption of new processes and systems Skills & experience: Proven experience delivering finance-focused IFS projects Strong hands-on configuration experience within IFS Finance Excellent understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and business users Experience working across full project lifecycles, from requirements gathering through to deployment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Finance transformation programmes ERP implementation or upgrade projects Financial reporting and analytics Integration design and data migration Experience working within complex enterprise environments Cathcart Technology is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
