Are you a versatile Software Engineer who enjoys working across CRM platforms, business systems, integrations, and automation? Do you communicate well, collaborate confidently, and take ownership rather than hiding behind a screen?
We are partnered with a private-equity-backed organisation experiencing strong growth. They are looking for a Software Engineer who can contribute across CRM and business-critical systems in a multi-brand environment (B2B and B2C). This is not a junior role - they want someone experienced, confident, and engaged.
The Role
You will work closely with the internal development team to evolve CRM and business systems, improve integrations, enhance automation and AI features, and support technical decision-making. Expect variety, ownership and a visible role in how technology moves forward.
What You’ll Work On
- Enhancing and developing CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is ideal; strong CRM/Java-based backgrounds also considered)
- Building and improving integrations and internal tooling
- Working with automation, workflow and AI-driven features (e.g., Salesforce Einstein)
- Developing scripts and components in Python and other core languages
- Supporting secure, stable and scalable system operations
- Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and shape improvements
Technical Skills They’re Looking For
- Strong experience as a Software Engineer
- Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with ETL tools
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong experience with web services (REST, JSON, XML)
- CRM or business systems development experience
- Good grasp of integrations, APIs and internal platforms
- Excellent communication and business awareness - someone confident engaging with people, not hiding behind a screen
Based anywhere in the UK (unable to consider anyone based outside UK), able to visit the office near Manchester once a month.
