A well-established Managed Service Provider in Glasgow are looking to add a talented IT Support Engineer to their team (hybrid). If you enjoy solving problems, speaking with customers, and want to work somewhere that genuinely invests in your development, this is one worth applying for.
The Opportunity:
You'll join a tight-knit support team within a tech company that's growing quickly. You should expect real variety: troubleshooting Microsoft environments, working on networking and Internet issues, supporting cloud and UC technologies.
You'll take full ownership of tickets, work directly with customers, collaborate with third-party providers, and head onsite when required. Once trained, you'll also join a well-structured on-call rota with generous additional payments.
This role is based at their Glasgow HQ for a minimum of three days per week on-site, with client visits depending on contracts. If you're looking for a new challenge, responsibility and meaningful technical growth, this environment will give you exactly that.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an IT helpdesk or support role
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Knowledge of Internet technologies
- Experience with Microsoft-based operating systems and end-user troubleshooting
- Familiarity with UC or Microsoft Teams Direct Routing (a bonus, not essential)
- Good time management and confidence in triaging and resolving issues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy, fast-paced team
- A valid driving licence (essential)
