A well established organisation is looking to bring on an experienced Qlik BI Developer to strengthen their business intelligence capability in Glasgow (hybrid). This is a great opportunity for someone with hands on Qlik experience, excellent data modelling skills and a passion for transforming raw data into meaningful insights.

You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of BI development from gathering requirements and designing Qlik dashboards, through to maintaining data models and supporting business users. In this role, you'll have the chance to take ownership of the full BI development lifecycle using Qlik Sense Cloud. You'll work closely with teams to understand their goals, translating complex requirements into data driven solutions.

Beyond building new tools, you'll also optimise and enhance existing Qlik assets, ensuring they remain scalable and efficient. You'll manage robust ETL pipelines from a wide range of data sources, playing a critical role in maintaining the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data at every stage. On top of that, you'll troubleshoot performance issues, provide ongoing technical support, and stay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in Qlik technologies making this an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to make a visible impact through analytics in a fast moving data driven organisation.

  • Commercial experience developing in Qlik (ideally with Sense Cloud), including scripting and dashboard design
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases
  • Understanding of data warehousing and building data lakehouses

The role comes with a competitive salary ranging between £50,000 to £70,000 (depending on experience). The office expectation will initially be five days in the office during onboarding and training, moving to a hybrid model (three days in office) once settled.
