Business Analyst required to join a global organisation in Glasgow as part of a team focused on improving how the business operates, delivers services, and supports its people.
The company
This is an opportunity to join an organisation that is investing heavily in operational excellence, business transformation, and service improvement. With teams operating across multiple locations, the business is focused on creating more efficient ways of working, improving the experience of both employees and clients, and driving meaningful change across its operations.
The organisation has developed a strong culture of continuous improvement, with a growing portfolio of initiatives aimed at simplifying processes, enhancing service delivery, and ensuring teams have the tools and support they need to perform at their best.
The Role
This isn't a traditional Business Analyst, instead you’ll work closely with operational teams across all business departments to understand how processes work, identify opportunities for improvement, and help shape more efficient and effective ways of working.
You'll spend time speaking to stakeholders, facilitating workshops, challenging existing processes, and helping teams solve real operational problems. Some projects may focus on reducing manual effort and improving efficiency, while others could be centred around service quality, user experience, or supporting wider business transformation initiatives.
What you'll be doing
** Working with teams across the business to understand operational challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
** Leading workshops and process reviews to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and pain points.
** Mapping current and future-state processes and helping stakeholders define practical improvements.
** Supporting the delivery of service improvement and business transformation initiatives.
** Using data and stakeholder feedback to measure success and demonstrate the impact of change.
** Helping embed a culture of continuous improvement across the wider organisation.
What we're looking for
** Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or similar role.
** Strong process analysis and process mapping experience.
** Experience facilitating workshops and engaging with a variety of stakeholders.
** Comfortable challenging existing ways of working and driving conversations around change.
** Ability to balance analytical thinking with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach.
** Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Service Design, or Operational Excellence methodologies
** Experience working within complex environments with shared services would be advantageous.
The Offer
You'll receive a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and hybrid working arrangement, typically involving three days per week in a modern city centre office.
The organisation also offers excellent career development opportunities, access to learning and development programmes, and the chance to work on business-critical initiatives that have a visible impact across the wider organisation.
This role would suit Business Analysts who enjoy process improvement, service design, operational excellence, or continuous improvement initiatives.
