An IT Service Desk Analyst is required to join a global professional services organisation on a 12 month FTC in Glasgow (2 days in office). This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same, offering exposure to modern technologies, enterprise‑scale systems and users across multiple international offices.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll play a key role in delivering a high‑quality support service to users across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for a wide range of technical issues and service requests.
  • You’ll take ownership of incidents from initial logging through to resolution, ensuring they’re handled efficiently while keeping users informed every step of the way.
  • You’ll provide support through a variety of channels including phone, email, remote access and face‑to‑face floor walking.
  • You’ll troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues, support remote workers, and help maintain a reliable and secure IT environment across multiple international offices.
  • The role also involves managing and configuring laptops, desktops and mobile devices, setting up equipment for new starters, administering user accounts and access requests, and maintaining accurate asset and configuration records.

You’ll ideally have most of the following:

  • Experience with Windows 10 and Microsoft 365
  • Active Directory administration
  • Windows Server environments
  • Remote working technologies including VPNs and Citrix
  • Mobile Device Management solutions
  • Building, configuring and troubleshooting PCs and laptops
  • ITIL-based support processes and incident management
