Senior Transport Manager or Self Employed Agent at Cathay Group Cathay Group is a British company headquartered in London. Amethyst Group Limited and sister company Warehouse One Distribution Limited, both part of Cathay Group, are looking for a Senior Transport Manager. You will join the transport team based in Wellesbourne and will work together with the other members of the team to manage the transport operations of both companies. You will have a CPC licence and be able to go on the vehicle operators licence for several of our sites. The key responsibilities will be: To bring in sales and be responsible for profit and loss. To be entrepreneurial, support sales, onboard new customers from their own pipeline, and grow the group transport business. Set up and find profitable revenue for a vehicle fleet based in Wellesbourne. Manage the bookings team in Wellesbourne to ensure efficient use of internal fleet and external hauliers; and that all customer goods are delivered within required timescales. Manage a planning team that is efficient and organised to serve customer needs and requirements, creating an atmosphere in the transport team that strives to improve and streamline a successful operation. Manage, audit, and review compliance systems (O-License, vehicles, route, and driver audits) to ensure that the company is compliant with all government O-License requirements.
