Overview

We’re looking for a proactive Production Manager to lead a brand-new manufacturing operation in Swansea. This is a strategic project involving the relocation and commissioning of specialized slitting machinery from Lantor in the Netherlands to Williams of Swansea.

Mission & Responsibilities

• Spend 3 months in the Netherlands to master the machinery and production process.
• Lead the full setup of the new production line in Swansea, ensuring all equipment and facilities are fully operational.
• Recruit, train and manage a new team of 8 production staff for 24/7 operations.
• Manage all aspects of production, from receiving materials to dispatching finished goods and solving day‑to‑day challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience running production lines.
• A solid understanding of basic machinery and a knack for troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for leading a team.
• The drive to manage a project from start to finish and hit the ground running.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

Location: Swansea (initial 3‑month training in the Netherlands)
