3PL Resources are looking for a professional Operations Manager to recruit temps, plan, direct and coordinate the organisation's operations. You will be responsible for improving performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on our organisation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the warehouse operation and continually improve operations, driving operational KPIs
- Be responsible for our temp staff recruits by our in-house temp agency
- Succession plan for personnel and team growth
- Set internal KPIs and monitor performance
- To be a champion for H&S, encompassing accuracy, quality & housekeeping
- Perform route-planning for transport operation
- Manage drivers & their performance
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager
- Adequate knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management
- Budget development and oversight experience
- Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices
- Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
- Basic IT skills (databases, MS Office etc)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
- Leadership and organisational skills
