The Challenge
Are you an IT Project Engineer who thrives on high-stakes migrations and international delivery? At Cathay Investments Limited, we are looking for a hands-on, senior-level consultant to lead our most critical infrastructure optimisations. This is not a "desk-bound" role; as our IT Project Engineer, you will be the technical spearhead driving a transition from Lantor SAP to Sage 200 and implementing global WMS solutions.
The Mission
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the IT Project Engineer will provide strategic oversight while executing technical tasks on the ground. You will be essential in:
- Leading the Migration: Managing the end-to-end move from Lantor SAP to Sage 200 with a focus on data integrity and minimal downtime.
- WMS Deployment: Executing the rollout of Seqos in our warehouse facilities.
- Budget Optimisation: Conducting a group-wide audit to find 15% in tangible IT savings.
Travel & Presence
While you will be based at our headquarters in Croydon, the IT Project Engineer is a mobile role. To ensure the success of our international implementations, you will be required to travel to:
- Veenendaal, Netherlands
- Goch, Germany (specifically for the Seqos implementation)
- Swansea, UK
Your Skills
- Technical Mastery: You can resolve major technical problems with durable, long-term solutions.
- Architectural Insight: You recommend business cases for major decisions that impact group IT services.
- Operational Excellence: Capable of managing system updates, patches, and backups while maintaining high availability.
- Communication: Highly skilled in drafting communications for senior board levels.
Milestone-Driven Rewards
We believe in rewarding the IT Project Engineer for direct results. On top of your base salary, you can earn up to £15,000 in bonuses:
- £5,000 for a successful Sage 200 go-live by Easter.
- £5,000 for the operational sign-off of Seqos in Goch.
- £5,000 for achieving 15% tangible savings in the group IT budget.
Ready to take the lead? If you are a highly technical professional with a customer-service orientation and the ability to multitask across borders, apply now.
