Position Type: Full-time, Permanent

Ready to plug into a global market? We aren’t looking for a standard account manager who wants to sit at a desk all day. We are looking for a high-energy, autonomous Sales Manager to own and expand our international "Cable" segment. We manufacture high-quality, technically specified nonwoven materials that keep the world connected. If you’ve ever wanted to be the driving force behind major international supply chains, positioning specialized solutions to top-tier manufacturers of high-voltage, offshore, and subsea cables, this is your arena. Based out of our Croydon office, this is a standalone, high-impact role reporting directly to the Director. You’ll have full autonomy to hunt new business and manage strategic global accounts.

The Mission (What you’ll actually be doing):

  • Own the Strategy: Design and execute the annual sales plan to expand our global market share.
  • Hunt & Nurture: Identify new market potentials, map out international OEMs and cable manufacturers, and build rock-solid, long-term commercial relationships.
  • Close the Deals: Lead high-level commercial and technical negotiations, from the initial pitch right through to final contracts and pricing strategies.
  • Be the Expert: Advise clients on bespoke material solutions, matching our specialized product specs to their complex engineering requirements.

What you bring to the table:

  • The Right Blend: A degree in Business with a technical mindset, or a Technical/Engineering degree with a sharp commercial edge.
  • Proven Track Record: Several years of experience in international technical sales or business development for industrial products. (If you already know the cable or subsea industry, you're at the top of our list).
  • An Entrepreneurial Spirit: This is an individual contributor role. You need to be a self-starter who thrives on autonomy, loves the thrill of the chase, and doesn't need hand-holding.
  • World-Class Communication: Flawless English communication skills and the confidence to negotiate with stakeholders globally.

What’s in it for you?

  • Base Salary: £50,000 per annum.
  • Bonus: A bonus that rewards your direct impact on revenue growth.
  • Autonomy: No micromanagement. You own your pipeline, your strategy, and your results.
  • Support: Backed by a stellar internal Customer Services team to handle order processing and logistics, leaving you free to focus on closing deals.

Apply Today: If you are a structured, solution-oriented sales professional ready to take over an international market, we want to hear from you. Click apply and let’s talk.
